"The Legend of the Long Lost Tunnel of Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery"  remains alive in the hearts and minds of the people living in Nagcarlan!   The Illusive Underground Tunnel connecting Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery behind the Altar of the Roman Catholic Church in Nagcarlan and forks to the summit of the Majestic Mount Banahaw is a Living Legacy to the Town of Nagcarlan.

The legend says locate the entrance of the " Long Lost Tunnel of Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery"  that connects to the Altar of St. Bartholomews Roman Catholic Church in Nagcarlan and you may have found the secret tunnel  that tracks the way to the tip of majestic Mt. Banahaw itself!
